As a Santa Barbara Photographer, a lover of all things youthful and a girl constantly getting lost in the beauty of the light, I am excited to present Katee Grace Photography showcasing a new line of High School Senior pics for Santa Barbara area High Schools.
I remember all too well being in high school and getting my senior pics by the school’s chosen photographer (talk about awkward and embarrassing!), and then getting the photographs that I actually wanted to hand out to my friends and family from another photographer of my choosing, who made me look GOOD, fun, beautiful, natural, trendy… how I really felt I looked then. My mom still has these senior pics up in her home and I’m totally not embarrassed about them, while the yearbook picture, I’d rather forget!
Getting senior pics done should be casual yet intentional, comfortable yet stylized. Being on both sides of the camera and thinking back to my senior pics, I strive to create an experience for each of my high schoolers for their senior pics that is comfortable, fun, and produces both the traditional and classic photographs that mom wants as well as the trendy, fashion/editorial style photographs that the senior wants.
